Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Smarter Daily Living (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, sells, and shares information about you when you visit smarterdailyliving.com (the “Site”) or use our content and any matching or referral features. Please read it together with our Terms & Conditions. By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Smarter Daily Living is a free content and comparison website. On some pages (for example, our Medicare comparison page) we operate as a marketing and referral service that connects consumers with third-party providers and licensed agents. We are not an insurer, contractor, or provider, and we do not sell insurance or any product directly.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide — name, email, phone number, and ZIP code or address.
  • Request details you submit (for example, age, tobacco use, or interests for a quote request, or your newsletter signup).
  • Internet and device activity — pages viewed, links and ads clicked, referring URLs, IP address, browser and device type, collected through cookies, pixels, and tags.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address or the ZIP you provide.
  • Consent records — the page, time, and proof of any consent you give.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the Site and our content; deliver our newsletter if you subscribe; respond to your inquiries; where you request it, match you with third-party providers and licensed agents and enable them to contact you; measure and improve advertising and Site performance; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations.

4. How we disclose, sell, or share information

We may disclose, and in some cases sell or share, the information above with: third-party providers, licensed agents, and lead-distribution platforms that respond to a request you submit; advertising, analytics, and attribution partners; service providers who operate our Site and email; and others as needed to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and property. Some of these disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state privacy laws. You can exercise choices on our Do Not Sell or Share page.

5. Third-party providers

Any providers or agents we match you with are independent third parties, not owned or controlled by us. Once your information is shared with them, they use it under their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. We encourage you to review their practices, and you can ask any provider directly to stop contacting you.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, perform analytics and attribution, enable advertising, and prevent fraud. You can control cookies through your browser. Global Privacy Control (GPC): where required by law, we treat a recognized GPC browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for that browser or device.

7. Calls, texts, emails, and consent

If you submit a request and provide consent, you may be contacted by us and by matched providers and licensed agents by phone, text, and email — including through automated dialing technology, prerecorded messages, and artificial or AI-generated voice — at the number and email you provide, even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent at any time: reply STOP to texts, use the unsubscribe link in emails, ask a caller to place you on their do-not-call list, or email privacy@smarterdailyliving.com.

8. Your choices

You can reply STOP to texts, unsubscribe from emails, adjust browser cookie settings, enable GPC, and submit access, deletion, correction, or opt-out requests via our Do Not Sell or Share page or by emailing privacy@smarterdailyliving.com.

9. Your state privacy rights

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. See our California Privacy Notice and Do Not Sell or Share page, or email privacy@smarterdailyliving.com.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Data retention & security

We retain personal information as long as needed to provide our services, document consent, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests: privacy@smarterdailyliving.com.
